I just purchased a new 2011 RX 350. My wife wants a cargo mat for the rear (black). Should I get the Lexus version or the Weathertec design?
The 2011 RX 350 is very nice and let's hope quality control is improved over early 2010 models.
Anyway input on a cargo mat is appreciated. My Lexus does have the factory cloth cargo mat but wife wants the plastic/vinyl hard version.

I have the Lexus mat. It is a two piece, well made and good quality. I have had Weather Tech on other cars and really feel they are the better product. I like the shell design and overall American made quality of Weather Tech products.

Is the Lexus at least a raised shell design like Weathertec?

Since I live in Florida (like you) which Mat should we get? Wife wants the Lexus logo and it is cheaper by a few dollars. I prefer the shell design and flat mat of weathertec vs. the ribbed design of the Lexus.

Copied and Pasted from a previous post of mine;
Cargo liner arrived the other day, just got out there earlier to install it. I'm very impressed, you can tell right away it's a quality product, check out the texture. Is it a perfect fit? Not quite, but it's very close, and once it flattens out I think it'll be even better. Here are some pics,

I have the Lexus rubber all-weather cargo mat. It's more of a flexible, softer rubber, more so than other cargo mats out there. I think it works great. Plus, it has the nice Lexus logo

I just bought the Lexus all weather cargo mat from Sewell. I'll post pics when I get it.
EDIT: Pics attached (sorry about the quality but it's really sunny outside and I wanted to take/ upload pics before I forget.
