Turn off "Power Easy Access System"?
Sorry if this question has already been covered. I tried searching for an answer, but didn't see it. Can the "Power Easy Access System" be turned off? This is the feature where the seat and steering wheel retract to allow easier entry and exit. Thanks.

No, I don't play soccer!
Hi vtec and welcome to CL.
The power easy access system can be shut off. I'm only familiar with the directions for nav equipped. The RX has to be on to do it. From the main screen, select, setup, vehicle, vehicle customizations. Use the down arrow to the last setting. Click on it. There are three options - full eject, partial eject and none. Once you made your selection hit save at the bottom. Use the arrow in the upper right to return to the previous screen(s). There are a bunch of other options you can change while you're there. Enjoy playing with it

2012 Navigation model -- no setting to turn off Easy Access?
Anyone with a 2012 navigation model able to find the setting? I can't seem to find it in the customization menus.... Thanks.

Just a follow up, my 2012 does not have the option in the customization settings, in ACC or ON mode. I ended up having the dealer program the setting for me with the service computer. They tried to change the setting the same way as detailed here, and could not find the option either. Anyways, the setting is changed now, and my baby car seats are now safe from encroachment.

Just an additional fyi, you can customize the driver's seat movement in the nav screen for easy exit but you cannot customize the automatic steering wheel retraction. That can only be done by the dealer.

Yes, I'm baffled too.. I haven't bothered to look at my build date, but I just bought the car last week with 8 miles, so I assume it must have newer software...
