Question on 2010 packages
Hi there,
I am currently in the process of quoting a few dealers on a 2010 RX350 AWD, and I am really confused on the way certain options are packaged. I understand that they have standard builds that are shipped to dealers on the east coast, but would like some clarification with regards to these packages. I'm trying to get as much info as I can before I walk into a dealership, so I don't waste any time.
I'm really only interested in the premium/comfort and HIDs as far as options go. Is it possible to just get those? According to edmunds.com, that's the typically equipped configuration (sans HID). A dealer responded to me indicating that the comfort package requires NAV. Is she wrong? Am I wrong?
Thanks in advance

HIDs are part of the comfort pkg.

TriCounty is so-so and was much better when my son in law and I bought Lexus vehicles from that dealer a few years ago..
My salesman and a great guy sales manager are no longer there.Good people that I miss.
I had to get the NAV to get the comfort pkg.So any dealer will work for you.

I bought from TriCounty Lexus a couple of miles from me.I bought a ES350 from Prestige and I'm not crazy about Prestige.

Wow, that's a bummer. My dealer, Lexus of Bridgewater, gets RXs without nav but I'm not sure about the comfort package
tk, give Lexus of Bridgewater a shout. If they don't have what you're looking for, they can probably check with their other dealer, Lexus of Edison. I've been going to Bridgewater for 12 years. All three of my RXs are from there. Good luck in your search.

I'd believe them if that's what they said. Bridgewater normally has a decent stock of RXs on hand with various packages. But I opted to go the special order route on my 450h to get exactly what I wanted. A pain, yes, but worth the wait. I'm sure you'll find one you like.

It isn't required, but it would be an unusual find. Since you are looking at a 2010, year-end model, so inventory will be limited. You may have better luck with the 2011 model.
