You're right in your observation. They are no where near as bright as the led fogs. One thing I noticed while taking the picture is the camera lens show them flickering but you can see it with the naked eye.

However, maybe because those models are more likely to have owners modding.

Earlier I emailed and asked about the RX350.

let me see if I can take a video of the flickering. It's only visible seeing it through a camera lens. Interestingly the rate of flickering is different from my DSLR vs the iPhone.

Talked to VLEDs earlier and was told with the flickering we can add the module to bring the bulb up to full power but then the 28 LED would be way too bright,IMO.
Just got this email.
We have not tested these in your specific vehicle but they should work just
fine. The LEDs will work at low voltage, they may have a "flickering" affect
caused by oscillating voltage on the DRL circuit.

So these would be perfect with the module, now all we need is a guinea pig

So all I would need is this?
Qty 1 pari - http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/D...69956-1-2.html
Qty 2 module - http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/D...97704-1-2.html

Joe, thanks for the update and confirmation.
I'm tempted to try it out although I can't notice the flickering with the 28 LED I have.

2 modules and the lesser power LED bulb you have posted.
I may go that route too.
Flickering bulbs make me uneasy.

Good to know. It would be a bummer if I somehow messed up the electrical on a new car. I think I will try out the lesser power LED/modules next month. I've exhausted my spending allowance for the month with my other hobby (reefing). If anyone becomes the guinea pig for the lesser LED/modules, please do share your experience.

Could someone help me figure out what bulb sizes I would need to change the headlight bulbs so that they all match the OEM HID projectors in my 2010 RX350?
I was looking through some of the threads and found this:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...gurations.html
My headlights are the second type, so I would like to change out the bulbs in the reflector bowl and the bulbs that are above the projectors to match the HIDs. Which one is the DRL?
