New owner of the 2010 RX350 AWD w/ 19" wheels..
Didn't get sports suspension b/c it's not available since we are buying from dealer stock..
I like the car a lot, smooth ride, comfy interior, quiet cabinet..but I just feel the car is not sporty at all..lowering the car would be the obvious route to take to get better handling I would think..but couldn't find any info regarding springs..

You listed everything this SUV was made to be, comfy, quiet and smooth, making it sporty would make all of that impossible.

i believe lowering springs and/or coilovers are available for the RX in japan.

If I wanted to make my RX sporty, I would trade it in for a 911.
If I wanted to make my SC more practical, I would buy an RX also.
Oh, I'm being told I already did that.

i'd have to agree w/ everyone else. if you wanted something sportier, you should have picked up something else. i'm coming from infinitis and the cushiness is a welcome change. you could probably get wider wheels/tires but it won't be that dramatic of a change.

I think that if you like the RX and want it sportier then go for it. I would caution you though to weigh all the pros and cons carefully in regards to changing the ride quality so you don't end up with buyers remorse.

+1 what others are saying, the RX is not designed to be sporty and I don't think you can easily convert it to be so. My IS350's demeanor is night and day compared to the RX; not better or worse, just different. I would not want my RX to have the same attributes as my IS (low profile tires, stiffer Sports suspension, tighter/quicker steering and cornering like its on rails), they are different tools for different jobs.

Actually, I need to correct myself...the RX I test drove at the dealer is a FWD+18" and the RX I end up buying is an AWD+19"..
Don't know if it is AWD kick in during hard cornering or 19" wheel or 36PSI I am using, but the AWD+19" RX drives and handles better than the FWD+18"..
