2011 rx, possible to get at invoice or lower yet?

hah, that will be good to know 3 years from now. 5 dealerships told me $289, i just figured that would have been something they weren't going to budge on. the one dealership where i pushed a little, the tone in the email response seemed a tad aggressive.

Msrp?
Can someone enlightem me on the MSRP?
I know what it means but recently I went to the Lexus site and built my own
It was a basic model RX350 with no options, plain jane type. The Msrp plus shipping was around $38000.
I got some quotes back from some Dallas dealers from $41000 to $44000,
the same basic model that had a MSRP of around$38000.
Question is: Can someone buy at the MSRP or lower and where.
Be nice if it was near Dallas, Texas .
Thanks,
Sam

MSRP is the same for everyone, and is obviously based on options. the prices you are getting will likely vary because different dealers have different options equipped on a similar model.

Who knows what invoice means any more. I bought my 2010 RX, with a list (in Mass) of $44,747; and I paid $40,000 for it. I "think" that's under invoice, but, who knows. This was on Sept 1 of this year. They also were very generous on two trades, a 2007 RX which had a KBB of about $20k and a 1993 LS400 which had a KBB of about $2k; and they gave me $24k for both. Net, I gave them the two cars and $16k and they gave me the new car.
When they tried to get the $450 doc fee out of me, I said to the "business manager", "nope" my offer was $16k, not a penny more. And, he took it off.
They also financed the $16k at 3.4% over four years.
I was happy, I think I got a good deal. I LOVE the car, way better than the 2007, although gas mileage is a bit less.
