Default 2011 rx, possible to get at invoice or lower yet?

Hi all,

How are the prices for the 350 and 450h now that they are starting to roll into dealerships? Is it possible to get at invoice or cheaper yet?

I got $100 over invoice tonight, 0 fees.

EDIT: This is incorrect. Our deal was $400 below invoice. I posted without checking.

I got a new 10 about three weeks back for $5399 under MSRP, but the factory helped through end of October.

the $2000 cash to dealer was renewed and now runs til mid-november..
I was able to get $7700 under MSRP or about $3000 under invoice a couple weeks back..
Could have got $8000 under MSRP on some less popular color but decide to pay abit more for a color we like (silver on grey)

so you custom-ordered your car and still only paid invoice? did you made them think you were gonna take a car on the lot and switched to custom mode after settling on a price?

My NJ Lexus dealer fees printed on the sales form
Doc fee $279.
Etching fee(Vehicle Protection Program) $199
Tire Tax Fee $7.50
Credit Inquiry fee(if applicable) $19
Co-Buyer Fee (if applicable) $19

You can negotiate those fees somewhat, though.

the dealer will likely have a doc fee. that can vary from dealer to dealer. the average was $289 from all the dealers in NJ that i've spoken to. in NY, the doc fee is capped at $75.

Our dealer has a big sign on the wall that reads, "DOC FEE $399". I didnt pay that. Now of course, that might have been added into the price of the car instead of being separately listed. They get their money somehow.

Doc fee is not required. I asked my brother-in-law who has his NJ dealers license. Most people pay without questioning, including me

it isn't? dealerships seem to be pretty adamant about it.
