The Yokohama Parada's look like the best buy based on the price ($ 660), survey summary, and treadwear rating (420 = treadwear).

Dodge Magnum a "muscle car"? LOL, I'll have to let my dad know

I am a Michelin girl at heart but the Yokohamas look pretty good. Considering RX OE tires didn't make it past 20K for me (Goodyear and Goodyear), I better think about replacements for next winter though the Dunlops (Goodyear) seem to be holding up well. These will make the short list. Thanks Jim.

I have an '11 RX350 and came with 19" Dunlop's. I love Yokohama. I had wonderful experience with them on my 2004 Infiniti FX35 (recently traded in for RX). I had the Yokohama YK520, 265/50R-20 size. I had them installed and "siped" at Discount Tire. They plowed through snow like a champ. When my Lexus OEM issued Dunlop's (still to new to form opinion) are ready to be recycled, I'm going with Yokohama's again.

My car came with Bridgestone's. They were horrible. I went to Michelin's and didn't like the feel at highway speeds on turns on the freeways.
I changed again to SpecX and UNBELIEVABLE! They are awesome.

If I were you, I would not do this. My RX test drive was on one with the 18" wheels, but I bought one that had the 19's (part of the "comfort package") and I can't believe how much worse the ride is. The tires on mine are Bridgestones. The dealer agreed to swap for ones with Michelin, but had none in stock at the time of delivery. I wish now that I had worked out a deal to swap for a set of 18's for both ride comfort and replacement tire prices. At least drive both before paying more money for the 19" wheels.

I have the 19 Dunlop's on my 450h and they ride as good as the 18 Bridgestones or the 18 Michelins that came with my 2005 RX 330. But I only have 2300 miles on the car and have only taken it on one trip of 150 mile road trip so far.

In checking today on Tirerack, the 2 best buys are Michelin and Dunlap for the OEM tires. If one considers the treadwear rating, Michelin is the better buy. The prices for a set of 4 (and treadwear rating) are:
1. Michelin--> $ 676 (treadwear = 440),
2. Dunlap---> $ 540 (treadwear = 280),
3. Bridgestone---> $ 892 (treadwear = 260).
Jim, I had also visited the Tirerack website on 2-18-11. I was actually checking the prices for tires for the 2007 RX350 that I used to drive that my sister-in-law is driving now. The '07 RX originally had Goodyear Eagles on it that lasted for about 38,000 miles. I then replaced them with the OEM Michelins for that vehicle, and now my sister-in-law, who has had the car since July and has put another 8,000 miles on them, has to replace them already. So it looks like the Michelins didn't get quite as much mileage out of the tires as the Goodyears, 30,000 as opposed to the 38,000 that I got.

I also checked out the prices for the OEM 19 inch tires for the 2010 model, the Dunlops and the Michelins, and I saw where they had the Dunlops on sale at $133 per tire. That's definitely cheaper than what I paid for the Michelins that I replaced the Goodyears for on the '07 RX, which I also bought those through Tire Rack, and they were about $188 per tire. I was surprised that the 19 inch Dunlops are so cheap right now. Too bad I won't need new tires for probably another year-and-a-half with that good of a price.

For the various Michelin brands I have had on vehicles, I have found that they wear pretty good. Have no history yet with the OEM Michelins on my 450h other than they seem to be pleasant tires to drive on and handle snow/ice fine. I always wait for sales on Tirerack. I got my OEM set of 4 Michelins (19") last October for $ 142 per tire. I either purchase from Tirerack, or I go to America's Tire/Discount Tire Store which will match Tireracks price (with added shipping cost per tire) for tires.
