picked up a new(?) 2010 RX450h on last Sunday from Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys, CA.
It was one of the last four 2010 RX450h they had and the deal was great.
I just found out from the lexus.com service history that the steering wheel was
replaced at another dealer before they did a dealer trade.
The steering wheel is not straight. it is tilted slightly.
Keyes Lexus never informed me the service history at the time of the purchse
and now I feel like I got a refurbished car. I have an appointment with the dealer
on Friday to get the streering wheel corrected. I also informed the sale manager
regarding the issue and he wanted to talk on Friday in person.

I just got a 2010 and checked the service history AFTER i bought the car and found out it had a check engine and awd light that needed servicing.
Please let me know how it goes with your dealer. My dealer is ignoring me.

Vehicles get jacked around all the time in transportation and have repairs done before sale, that's just the way it is. In your case the wheel was probably damaged in transit and they replaced it. Better for them to have done it than you discovering it after the sale. The misalignment should have been caught upon reinstallation but sometimes that step is missed as you have to do a road test and visually check for even alignment. I had a Subaru WRX with a misaligned wheel and it was easily corrected. Should they have told you about it beforehand, I don't know. It wouldn't bother me but it may bother others who want a pristine vehicle just like it came from the factory. Talk to the dealer and see what the story is.

I had a little problem with some imperfection in the leather of the rider seat, so my dealer took one out of another new car and put it in mine. They said they were going to order a new seat for it, but it would take a long time to get. I'm sure that the other new car had a repair order on it. This probably happens a lot.
