Tonight I visited our local lexus dealer to check out a special offer on a Rx they had. The sticker price was $54,000.
Here are the specs:
2010 RX450h FWD showroom model
1300 miles
Comfort Package
Premium Package
Navigation pkg w/12 speaker audio
19" rims
Cargo Mat
Cargo Net
Wheel locks
Leather and wood trim steering wheel and shift ****
Intuitive parking assist
Dealer installed custom rear entertainment dvd players in headrests
(which they claim was 3500) but doesn't come with any wireless headphones whatsoever.

Price they're willing to sell it to me: $48,000 flat (not incl. taxes)
My sales rep will contact me this Thursday to see if he can get it any lower.
What do you guys think? :x

Seems like that is an average price reduction for getting a 2010 model year with some miles already on it. The DVD players would make up for the 1300 miles in my opinion. Since that is the price they initially quoted, I predict they would lower the price in further negotiation. Here is what some others paid for their new 450h ($ less than MSRP prices).

Its a 2010 not 2011. Its a used car on the title. Look what you can get for the same money. I think $47,000 is a decent price.
The DVD player costs the dealer less than $400.00 + install!
Its a very BIG profit maker for the dealer.

Maybe the fact you are in Hawaii you have to pay a lot more.

I just bought a BRAND NEW 2010 RX450H (fully loaded, minus the DVD system) and the MSRP on it was $56,500 ish... I paid $48K even. You should ask them to drop to $47... I looked up the TMV on Edmunds.com and ppl are paying $47,900 for them
