Go to the M Benz web site and look for the E class specifications. The turning radius should be there.

2011 RX 350 with 19 inch wheels. The ride is definitely firmer than the 2nd gen RX. Steering is more responsive but the ride is firm and sometimes a little choppy or bouncy. It handles better but not the silky ride of our previous RX. My wife kept asking me how the ride compared the our previous RX and if it was normal. I wonder if the 18" wheels make a difference.

I agree with you that the previous gen RX has a little smoother ride than the 2010. Apparently, the 2010 has a firmer suspension. But what does kind of annoy me on the 2010 is the exhaust note noise when sitting at a light. It kind of gets on my nerves. Sometimes I put the shifter in neutral while I'm sitting at a stoplight, and then it reminds me of the quietness of my '07 RX that I used to drive. I kind of miss that, though I do like the extra tech that comes on the 2010 RX!

I drive a '11 RX and think the ride is awesome, but I never owned the previous gen RX so maybe I don't know what I'm missing. I definitely share your irritation to the exhaust noise. And the general engine noise when revving at low speeds. I assume this will be addressed on future models. Come on Lexus, use some noise deadening material, already! ;-)

Es350 will have a smaller turning radius and the smoother softer ride.

I just assumed that Lexus tried to make the exhaust note sound a little sportier, say, a la Infiniti FX, but in my opinion, it's a fail. I think I'd rather have more quietness.
But have you tried doing what I do at a stop light and put the car in neutral? You will immediately notice how much quieter it gets. Just remember to put it back in gear when the light turns green. Sometimes I forget and it's like -- duh! LOL!

I found the ES to be smoother and maybe a little quieter. The RX is very close. You should drive both back to back, sometimes it is personal preference and not technically that much difference. Good luck.

Default In "Neutral", At Stoplights

I usually put it in "Neutral", and yes, I do very infrequently forget to put it back into "Drive" when the light changes.
