That would go to the ES probably. that car is modeled after the LS but at a cheaper price point, and it comes pretty darn close. Also due to the shape of the ES, it faces much less wind resistance and would have the quietest ride.

I agree with RXSF - I am currently driving an ES while my IS is in for service. I would compare it to a sofa on wheels. The 3rd Gen RX has more of a sporty/firm ride to it. I believe the 2nd Gen RX had a softer ride than the 3rd Gen.

Wife got an ES350 a few months ago as loaner. Definitely softer/quieter, but she didn't like being lower to the ground. The sudden downpours of rain and flooded intersections (only a few times a year) convinced us that a sedan is not for us, despite the softer ride and better mileage. Depends on what you like.
