Remote starter changes price?

A checklist while efficient is not very personal, and there are so many items nobody could possibly remember it all. I wanted to use the Flip camera! Anyway, whenever I have a question I just call up and they answer or invite me up. There are things that aren't on the website, Enform, and incorrect in the voluminous manual.
As for settings they are always kind about making any changes whenever and don't limit to one. Maybe my dealer is just kinder or more realistic.

Well I'm in MA, it's winter here, so i really need the car get warmer or cooler in summer b4 i jump into the car and wait for 5 mins. I did contact a third party shop and they insist that they can install the starter to my original key Fob( like the dealer) and also extended the range up to 1000 feet. I'll check it out later.

Don't loose sleeps over this. Unless ALL you want is to start your car in your garage, I mean 20 to 30 ft away, other than that it is useless. Get the after-market one if you can.

I had an RX300 for a couple of years before I bought my RX350. So I thought I knew just about everything. But there will always be stuff you learn.
The dealer cant possible go through everything on the car upon delivery. My first return to the dealer we spent about an hour. Hooking up my Bluetooth and other stuff. The rest of the stuff I learn on this great web page.

No, I don't play soccer!
My sales guy set up my phone and sent me off. I guess he figured I knew everything since it was my third RX
I'm fine with remote start and its limitations. My only gripe is it's not really designed for the hybrid. Sure the windows defrost and the seats get warm. But since the engine powers on and off, heat output is minimal in the cabin. Per the dealer, the engine has to warm up through driving before appreciable heat kicks in.
And starting up in the garage I'd rather be cold temporarily than permanently.
