Hi anyone using rear mount for iPad instead of having rear DVD entertainment system? I am looking for one that goes in the middle as I have two kids sitting in the back. Woul love suggestions for a workaround .thx

If you have two iPads for both, this is the best mounting kit in my opinion.

One iPad mounted in the middle would not be good for your kids (neck). Just my 2 c.

I deffinately like the one that mounts to the back of the seat. That looks very clean for the interior. I went with headrests LED DVD players ($320) which I installed myself but the IPAD idea looks great. Couple them with a mobile hot spot and your teens wold love trips anywhere.

The cupholder design is lackluster IMO. I'm sure it would get the job done but does not seem to flow with the interior.

How much is the mount for the back of the seat?

Try this site, the ipad2 mount will be available in early April and it looks like it can be moved to the center of the seats

that looks nice, but it seems a little pricey at $80. i'll wait for some reviews before ordering.

my problem with headrest mounted devices is that in an accident, they are likely to come loose and hit whomever is sitting in the rear seat (especially ones that are poorly secured)

^^ those ipads would be pretty hard airbags...is there an app to fix this?
