Default Tire pressure re-set on 2011 RX450

Read the manual, it shows a push button to hold in. Problem is I do not have such a button, manual shows it though. Dealer does not know how.

Is it automatic, or is there some menu I missed?

I know similar questions have been asked but not on the 2011 RX-450

TIA

I don't know about the 450h but on the 350 it's almost near the gas pedal

this is from the floor looking up

I knew they would be under the steering column because that is where they were on the old RX330. However, I looked today for the first time, and sticking my head under there, I could not find it. lol what a bad location. On the 2nd generation RX, it wasnt as deep down. design fail.

^^ I agree. It was a lot easier on the 330. On the good side, at least we still have the reset button. Now we just need to find it

Well, I'll be. It's there. Guess they don't want you to push this button accidentally.

It re-sets the current pressure set point.

This forum is a great resource for information. I originally asked my dealer about this re-set button shortly after I purchased my 2010 450h. I read about it in the manual, but I could not locate it where I thought it was based on the manual pictures. The dealer then told me that there was no re-set button in the 2010 + models, and that it would re-set automatically if one changed out the TPMS, etc. I looked yesterday after viewing this discussion (and picture provided by yahj), and the re-set button is surely there in my vehicle. Just shows you that even the dealers do not know all the answers and/or replies can not always be taken as a fact.
