hidden tow hitch

ISterguy, how "wiggly" is that carrier side to side?
Some drawbars/ball mounts don't fit all that well in the receiver and allow movement.
I bought an anti-rattle mount which fits a big nut inside the mount, and what is normally just a slip-in pin is threaded so the mount is tightened into the receiver.
I did it to stop the clunking (rattle?) noise when towing an empty trailer, but it might stabilize a bike carrier if it needed stabilization.

Jonas,
The Thule bike carrier comes with a bolt that does thread from the outside of the hitch receiver into the carrier nut allowing it to tighten together. The side-to-side stops but there is a slight (maybe 1/8") up-down. I have not towed anything else.

Going back to Soup's post #34:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/7082749-post34.html
Installed the Drawtite hitch #75676 on 2013 Lexus RX350 and have the same problem of the exhaust pipe rubbing against the hitch / makes a rattling noise.
Got it from AutoAnything and they are going to 'see if the manufacturer will accept the return'. Not really AutoAnything's fault, but I had a Curt on a 2009 Lexus RX350 with NO problems. Tried to save a few bucks and went with Drawtite. Shame on me.
And we aren't the only 2 with this issue with Draw Tite. Another from 2011:

When you take the bikes off and fold the hitch vertical, does the front wheel cradle rub on your bumper? I have a 2012 RX 350, (white also, btw) with a Thule T2 rack, and I noticed that issue when I folded up mine. Obviously don't want to scratch the bumper, and I was thinking to cut the plastic wheel cradle down about and inch and half so I don't have that problem.

It will not. The 2007 RX350 is a 2nd Generation RX and was not engineered to allow for a hidden hitch like they did with the 3rd Generation RX starting with the 2010 model year. For 2007 you have a variety of hitches available, but they are all very visible.

No, I don't play soccer!
^ Probably has to do with the fact the 2nd gen RX has a full spare underneath too. The 3RX has a donut spare that fits inside the cargo area. Good luck finding a hitch that's close to what you want totoquin. And welcome to CL.

The 07 and 10-14 have a completely different frame.

No, it is reflection of the flash I guess. I have yet to tow anything. As I mentioned earlier this is the Curt hitch model # 13451. Along with it I got the electrical T-connector 56083 and the tube cover with built-in electrical holder #21728. I bought all this from thehitchstore.com. My RX came with the towing prep pkg. and the electrical part works fine.
When looking up on http://www.curtmfg.com. my 2010 rx350 comes up with the following:

CURT Trailer Hitch #13143

Has the model number of the Curt hitch changed?

Our 400h has a hitch on it, but our 350 does not and I want to take to to Colorado this year, so it needs one.
