Default Anybody know of quick and easy car waxing

Can anybody recommend a quick and easy car wax that does the job? Zymol does a good job but the multi-step process takes a long time and buffing it off is a real pain.

Thanks!

Most wax's on the market will do the job of waxing. Some are easy, some not so. But if you want the best job that won't require redoing in two or three months, don't go easy. Go elbow grease! Not only will it last longer, you'll be more proud of the job when you're done.

Above web site might help. I've been using Meguiar's Quick Detailer (spray) and also spray wax. Not the high end carnuba but works for me. Quick detailer can be found at Walmart or Auto Zone and Others...

Collinite 845 Insulator wax on clean smooth paint. If car is not brand new might want to clay and polish. Used 845 on new 450h; what a glow. Easy to put on and off.

I really like the Meguiars NXT Tech Wax. That's why I use and it is easy on and easy off.

Here's a waxing method I learned when I worked in a car detailing shop for one week.

For fast and easy waxing, use a good quality liquid wax. The shop used P&S or AutoGlym but now I personally like the Zymol cleaner wax. Apply using a comletely DAMP cotton washcloth. Damp meaning you completely wet the towel and then wring out all the water you can. Fold the washcloth into a square about the size of your hands.

Apply small amounts of liquid wax to the car or the washcloth. Spead the wax as thinly as possible. All you need is enough wax where the paint gets hazed. Any more wax than that, you are just creating more work for yourself when it's time to rub it off.

Let the was completely dry in the shade. If you didn't overdo the wax, all you need is a bathtowel to wipe off the wax. It comes off without much elbow grease.

AutoGlym polish and sealant is what I use for the brand new car especially you want to fix those light scratches from the beginning because that will make your life easier in the future. From my experience, the better the wax is the harder to work with them. No doubt that the result will be amazing once you have gone through the process. If you don't have much time to make your ride nice and clean every week, you should have some sealant product applied and some of those will last for many months.

Zaino All in One. Cleans and Waxes and you can do it in direct sunlight. Not a lot of elbow grease needed.
