First Day impressions
I decided to beat the crowd in and trade my '03 RX on a '11 RX this holiday weekend on Friday night. I got $1000 customer loyalty rebate which made up for an uninspiring trade value that made a fair deal. I was in and out in 3 hours.
First annoying thing was the stupid ECO light. Of course I know I'm not a "green" driver, don't remind me. A little google and reference from the manual - the first annoying 'feature' fixed. It's nice to be able to turn off Nav and the dash computer. The Nav hasn't wowed me with it's route directions.
The next thing was changing the Blue tooth syncing to initiate from the car instead of the iPhone. Now I can just change modes and it plays.
I put a little over 100 miles. I've been overall very happy. It actually turns, it's bigger than my '03. I do miss my sun glass holder.

Lol I remember the times with my 99 RX300. That thing had a horrible turning radius. A lot of embarrassing U-turns at intersections. Enjoy the new RX!

Question about the $1,000 loyalty rebate? Is this a new Corp incentive or is this a Dealership loyalty discount? On Edmunds it looks like they only have a military rebate for $750? I read in car chat that there might be some new incentives coming out soon and was wonding if this was it?

I know last month there was a $1,000 loyalty rebate and I also have the $1,500 rebate for the valve spring recall on my 06 IS350. I am contemplating getting an RX350 or RX450h depending on incentives in the next few months. I don't think there are any incentives on the 450h right now.

I took the $1000 customer loyalty rebate this pasy March; however, I was required to finance with Lexus and make at least three or four payments before payoff. I got the $1500 coupon from the Lexus LS 460 recall and applied that to the trade. I then had mud guards and door guards put on with the $500 parts credit from the LS recall. Enjoying the new RX 350, it seems to suit me better than the LS. The LS sat in the garage most of the time and I drove my Nissan Pickup most of the time. I'm passing the pickup on to my daughter and have decided to drive the RX 350 full time (only one car now).
