New RX350 and Itunes
Just bought my first Lexus RX350. I finally figured out how to sync itunes from my iphone but I guess you have to change songs from the phone and not through the nav system? Hope that makes sense. My last car would show my playlists on the nav screen. Thanks for any help!

I listen through the iphone music all the time. But somehow the song's titles don't display on the screen. No nav RX350. My other car displays the title with the bluetooth streaming. Anyone has idea?

LED lighting change; I recently changed most of the lights to LED's. I am trying to figure out how to change the mirror indicator balbs, not the mud lamp balbs.

Thanks everyone. I guess I will wait for Apple. Not sure why it would work in some vehicles and not others. I guess I'll hook an ipod through USB and see how that works.

I don't like plugging in my iPhone every time I get in the car. I'd rather have it in my pocket and not think about it.
I played around with iOS 5 (beta version) for a few weeks. The new bluetooth functionality works great. It's nice to see the song and artist info on the screen.

Lexus Test Driver
I've been running iOS 5 starting with beta 1 to 4, and it's definitely improved bluetooth functionality. I'm a developer so I'm working on creating an app that works perfectly with our RX's, hopefully I get it done soon. Doesn't look that way though, I've been testing my app out on my brothers rx450h and it's not as seamless as I was hoping it would be. So back to the drawing board...

Not exactly an answer to your question...but.....
I converted all my ipod music to mp3. These were copied to a "thumb drive" in folders, and the thumb drive was installed in the car. Much easier to use than dealing with an ipod or iphone controls.
