Hey guys,
It looks like this is the newest LED DRL/Foglights available on the market.
It comes in H11, which is the size for foglights on the RX.

It was those 68 LED in H11 that I saw a while ago.
This design looks more promising, for a more intense light output with higher powered LEDs. Looks like a very high quality product too!
This is a great option for those who do not want to put HIDs in their foglights (may be too big for some) and these 7.5w LEDs will make a perfect match with OEM or upgraded HID driving lights.
Thought I share with everyone here =)

JLCLightings: Do you have any evidence or long-term comparison to show they don't last long? I know a few people running these LEDs and they have no complaints. Please provide more information =)
2k11sfrx: It may not be applicable everywhere, but I know some people who have been ticketed for HID foglights and the offence is "non-authorized lights." HID foglights get quite a bit of attention on most cars because they are in reflector housings, unlike the projector-based driving lights. I guess this is a pretty good alternative for people who don't want super white halogens or super bright HIDs, this is kind of a choice in the middle. Just my 2 cents ! =)

How bright they are?
7.5W LED with at least 75..80lm/W should give you ~600 lumens. I do not think this design can handle amount of heat produced by those LED's. They finally will fail because of overheating. Most cheap chinese made LED's can not handle "junction temperature" more than 120 degrees C. Heat sink for 7.5W should be much bigger, plus you need air circulation to transfer the heat...
For each fog light you need at least 800..1200 lumens (projector design). Cooling system for LED based fog light will be approximately same size as your existing fog light assembly.
