The OP didn't do anything wrong. The OP hasn't even driven the car so the car can still be sold as "new".
I am sure a lot of people got their highly-sought-after vehicles after the previous buyers changed their mind and canceled the deals.
Buyers' remorse is not a big deal for the car dealers. They even make buyer's remorse a feature in their sales pitch.
