But you can see the name badge, not the exhaust. I say skip it and keep the RX androgynous

Poof you are finished. Looks much better I think. Good luck after you spend about $42.00 for the name badge. Worth it though.
Enjoy your 2010, I mean 2011 RX. I think you're the first to prematurely age it

LOL that is hilarious. Truth be told, I was planning on getting a 2011 or 12 until I learned they were badge-less. I started seeing RXs on the street without the badge and I thought what's up with that? Did someone steal their badge?

Just took a fresh look at my RX. It looks horribly unbalanced with that steering wheel on the left side. Does anybody know where I can buy a fake steering wheel for the right side?
Called dealership already. They quoted ridiculous price on the real one.And they do not offer any kits to install it on the right side. Top of stupidity.

I've gotten good deals on right-side steering wheels on ebay.

If you get the right side steering wheel you'll need one of those dummies to ride in the passenger seat to further balance things out.

I just got a quote for a 2012 (w/o Nav) for $45,400. Seemed a little high for me. Actually, the quote was for a 3 year lease with the one-time payment (up front) option.

One-Time Payment: $18,427
Residual: $27,647

3 weeks ago I got a quote for the exact same model 2011 and it was:

One-Time Payment: $17,060
Residual: $27,215

I guess I should have popped on the 2011 while they were running the incentives.

Has anyone else here done a one-payment lease?

I have never heard of a one-payment lease. Can you provide more information on how this works and how it's a good idea. Just curious, I stopped leasing years ago because I tend to keep my cars a long time.

Basically, it is a 3-year lease but you make a single payment for the 35 months up front. For example, I was quoted on a 2011 recently at $17,068 one-time payment with a $27,215 residual. The advantage is saving in sales tax and interest. Monthly payments on that same lease would be $582 X 35 ($20,370). So, in this example, you save about $2,300 in interest.

It is a good idea for someone like me, but not for everyone. There are risks. If the car is stolen or a total loss early in the lease, there is no gap insurance provided by Lexus, so you risk losing some equity. However, the risk for a total loss is minimal, IMHO.

Does the 2012 RX350 have LED daytime running lamps like on the IS & CT?

Im not good in math, but how do you lose the sales tax for the 35 months by paying up front?
I believe you'll still get tax for the $ 20370? Right? Or maybe it's just the case here in California.
