Hi all:
We love our new Lexus. One question you may be able to help us with.... While driving on the freeway, a "CHECK AWD" warning appeared on dash odometer.area. As we were 100 miles from home, we pulled into a Lexus dealership there, and had them check it out.
I guess I didn't ask the right questions, but after 1/2 hour, they returned car and said they couldn't find anything wrong with it, but we could have a loaner if we wanted..... The warning light was off, so we headed home. No problem since...
My question: Has anyone else had this warning pop up - for no reason? Could the warning have been triggered by us having pushed the AWD button on Console?
Thanks for any ideas!.

That's strange. But, I wouldn't worry about it, or lose sleep over the matter. If it happens again, take it in and refuse to take the car back until they can find the issue.

Hello: We love our 6 month old Lexus. But today the "CHECK AWD" warning light came on - for the second time. We have never used the AWD. No problem detected the first time, after we rushed to the dealership. Could we be accidentally hitting some button? Has this happened to others? Thanks for info. Mark
