You bought one of the best engineered and most technically advanced cars available today. The RX has always been at the front of the Luxury Mid Sized SUV field and you should really enjoy it.
There is so much to learn, you should spend (not joking) an hour or so in your driveway with the owners manual (large) getting to know all the features and how they work so you're not trying to figure them out while driving. It's kin to getting qualified in a new airplane you haven't flown before if you do it correctly.
This is a great place to get answers to the best way something works if you stumble but definitely go to the book 1st. There is so much there.

Congrats, welcome to the club, even though lots of people hate Lexus. Enjoy your RX. Me and my family are enjoying RX since 2003. We own 2 RX. 2004 RX 330 and 2010 RX 350. Pls post pics.

My shorter board will definitely fit, not sure about the 8'6. We used a tape measure and it seems okay. But I think I'm just going to use roof racks anyway because I don't want to crap up the interior.
Sounds like you're having fun with your RX. The tint looks good too.

Oh well, nope, guess I got a barebones RX but at least I got the leather seats and I can use my iphone for navigation if needed so I'm happy with what I have. And so are all my friends and family who can't stop gushing at the car!
