RX 450h questions...

That seems better than the 20ish we average with the RX330 but not as high as I was expecting. It seems you would have to keep it a long time and/or drive a lot of miles to make up for the premium cost of the hybrid. But I love the start stop system!

It's going to depend entirely on how you drive it, route, etc. But however it is, you'll do better. I was getting around 20 with my RX300. Now I'm averaging between 30 to 33mpg. Trust me, that difference adds up in savings and the resale figures are certainly reflecting higher as well.
Oil is inching back toward $90 a barrel and many think it could be $110 by spring so the savings per mile will become even more critical. Plus it's a model up with more trim and standard equipment.
If they ever design a 'geek' badge for the owners, I qualify for one of the 1st ones . I've named the car "Watson".

With my FWD 450h I average about 30 MPG. The lowest I have ever seen is about 28.6 MPG. But, there are many ways to kill your mileage ... so depending on how you drive and where you are, it is easy to see lower numbers. The longer I drive this car, the less I worry about my mileage and the lower my numbers. If you are interested in gas mileage, there are much easier ways to get better mileage. My Subaru Outback will easily average in the 30 to 33 MPG range on the highway and had a sticker of $31,800.
