Curious about RX owners age and family status
#184
New owner of RXh, first Lexus. 32 and married with a 7 month old daughter. Previously drove a Honda Civic Hybrid which was great but got a little too small with the car seat, stroller, etc. The ride is incredible in the RX and the space is great, though I sure am missing the Civic's gas mileage (~49 compared to ~30 with RXh so far).

this cuv's a keeper..
Wife and I are both retired but active 66 year-young Vancouver Islanders. 1 year old granddaughter. 1.5 year-old moyen poodle.
Our first Lexus, but long-time car (Toyota) keepers -- new to us, pristine CPO late-2010 MIJ RX350 Granite Mica Touring Sport.
Had a hard time choosing a vehicle: what to compare to for the quality of our reliable 19 year-old MIJ Camry? Infinity cuv's are gorgeous looking but not much room to carry stuff.
Of all the luxury cuv's we checked out, the RX won out for capacity, fit and finish, and reliability reputation -- so far, glad we chose it -- just as much a joy to drive.

1995 Camry V6 LE ..still in great condition -- gonna be hard to let go of this one
1955 Chevy 3100 pickup ..nearing the end of my toy-time

Was 15 days short of 49 when I purchased my RX350. Married for 30 years. No kids at home (besides three long hair Chihuahuas). Cars (2012 Hyundai Genesis) just started sitting too low -- I noticed I grunted every time I got out and it was kind of hurting my knees. I'm tall and long legged. Def time for something that sits up higher -- my RX350 is at perfect butt-sliding-in height for me.

49 engineer, wife 45, and our 2 children are in college. The 2015 RX350 costs $47K, which is about the cost of one year for my son to attend a large public university (out-of-state tuition, room & board). This is our first Lexus, the other vehicles we have are a Honda Odyssey, a Honda Civic, and a Toyota RAV4.
