Working out whether to take existing lux with nav or order one. Sales guy says all lux come from Japan, certainly the one he is getting in mid dec is from japan but it has hud and I have already learned on this forum that all hud's come from japan. That said, all lux rx's in the country not custom come with hud, tow and park assist. My real question is if I custom order a lux nav car without all this other stuff will it be built in Japan or canada....I don't really care but I figure it will lengthen the time if it is japan. I suspect it is japan since most of the lux nav cars they build get the other stuff so it seems natural it would come from there.

I think I got it right...the only things I must get together on this custom are the comfort, lux and nav....hud etc are options from there. All three amount to about 1900 list increase.

PS He is offereing me the high end japan car with the extras for 1000 over cost which seems to be pretty good but I suspect he can do that on a custom order although he is telling me they don't make them without hud etc. I think he is wrong there.

sounds like your custom build will come from Japan. It will be the longest three months of your life

I don't think that comfort, lux and nav together only cost $1,900 ... that seems pretty low. I would check your current numbers and assumptions. On my car, the comfort package was $825, nav was $2,465 (included enform, etc.).

hud 1200
park 500
tow 238

Yeah the lux nav and comfort list about 9300 together....there is no choice,,,you got to have those together. The other stuff looks to be truly optional
