Remote start 2011 Rx350
Hello Lexus team , what after market remote start systems work on the 2011 RX 350? Left my car at Best Buy for 2days and they could not get a viper DS4 system to sync up with the car.

I installed this on my RX basically plug and play, I also added the smart phone start feature and it works flawlessly.

RX and ES Remote Start
We have a 2013 RX350 and 2013 ES350. Had the RX for about a year and the ES for a couple months. I recently found out that it is supposed to have remote start. Push the lock button twice, hold it a third time and it's supposed to start. Neither of these cars does that. Is that a setting or something I can do or is that a computer / car issue? Or my car(s) don't have it? Thanks!!!

Did you buy the vehicles new? Does the Lexus build sheet show auto start? On my 2019 RX350 you had to be really close and quickly hit the button three times and the third time hold the button down and don’t let go. The lights should blink three times and after your holding it it’ll blink quickly 7 times. Then the car should start and as soon as you open the door it will turn off. Obviously all of the doors, trunk, and hood need to be closed before hand.

12volt.solutions module works on EU/General model.
The OEM Lexus kit did not fit on my 2011 RX450H, because the female connector behind the glovebox is not present.
The 12volt.solution kit, worked straight out of the box, and also the car starts after 3 X lock on the original remote fob.
The 12Volt.solutions kit was $229,- and installation took 20 minutes. They supply installation videos, so anyone can install the remote starter. Did it myself, no need to visit the/any dealer and/or garage.

yes...i just had an Omega Excalibur RS-475-3D installed on my 2014 RX350
$344 shipped from crutchfield...T-harness and immobilizer bypass module must be bought also.
$250 for the installer to come to my work and install it while i was at work.
2 way remote lets you know if the engine is running with a flashing LED on the remote.
i bought the Linkr mobile module that works on omega's cell network, which is 4G LTE, first year is free and $40 per year after that.
i am having the module installed by the same guy...it is a plug n play module, but he installed the remote start and immobilizer module in a hard to reach place behind the lower left dash panel.

Lexus remote start
Hello, I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight with oem remote starter.
I just installed into my car myself and followed the instructions up to after connecting the res1 connectors on passenger side kick panel by right foot and then performed the 5 cycles with the push start button (pressing it 14 times). Everything seemed to go as was supposed to and I disconnected the res1 plugs. I went to test the remote start and it works but doesn’t fully turn car over. The starter just spins until there must be a timeout of 4-5 seconds. Can anyone tell me is this just because I have to register it with techstream program? I’m just wondering if my only option is having to go to the dealership and have them do that. My partner is in the end of stage 4 lung cancer and I don’t really want to leave her alone for too long or be without a car. And to be honest I don’t want to pay dealership labor rates for something I took the time to install. If anyone can let me know if that’s why the remote starter is doing what it is and if there’s anyway for me to complete it without dealer. Thanks
-Mike

Techstream kit
Techstream
Just get the techstream kit for $30,- and you'll never have to go to the dealer again.
Install the software on any windows PC& connect the usb - obd cable, and follow the RES installation instructions, and it should be ok

Long range kit firmware lx202
I want to have a bigger range, so I tried to buy the extra long range kit from 12voltsolutions (which is rebranded Directed), but out of stock and no longer available.
The installation video showed the hardware, and I bought it all seperately. The only issue now, is flashing the xl202 with the right firmware, to connect the seperate remotes to the module.
The firmware can be downloaded from directech.com, but only by dealers!
Does anyone know where to find the firmware files somewhere else?
Looking for firmware 202.RTFDKLQ1 .
Long-range hardware: xl202, antenna 6102T, keyfobs Avital 7143L.

The Lexus security mechanism is annoying but no choice if you live in a cold climate.

thanks that’s exactly what I ended up doing and it worked perfectly. Took about 30 seconds to do the handshake to match it up to my car. Ended up buying a wallet key that finally came in today that I will also use the software for to set it up for my car

I also got this kit a while back and finally had time to pop it in a few months ago. Was easy and fast with the video they provide and works as advertised. Highly recommend.

Remote starter options for 2015 Rx350
Hello members !
this question is for the Canadian members , who could recommend a good remote starter for my 2015 rx 350 , in Ontario.
I tried calling dealerships , the said there isn’t one available.
I would also like to know which brands are good and your experiences with them.
thanks.
