Holy smokes! I did it! 2012 Cerulean Blue RX 350
Just drove it home now. What a beautiful drive. Almost 2 hours each way to dealer. And although salesman and I moved things along, the dealership was locked b y the time I drove off.
All in all a good experience. I almost had them talked into a Cape Cod satellite office
Color choice was hard between White (my last 3 cars, and the Blue. I liked the Golden color also and the red, which is drop dead gorgeous, was the only color they did not have. Which I probably would not have gotten but it sure does look sweet!
I got almost all the options I really wanted, but not all. they have them only a certain way.
And I got the .9% which is a great deal.
Photos when it is not dark out and I am not dog tired.
Can hardly believe I did it! I am now a FULL member of this awesome site that was most helpful.

Congratulations!!! Don't be shy and do what we all did: sit in it for hours, deeply inhale all those new leather and plastic fumes, play with all the control, polish the polished wood, and marvel at all the new gadgets! Guess you're calling in sick tomorrow

LOL! Yeah, the test drive was mostly a formality Well, yes, I just took a nice night drive and 3/4 way thru it realized that not only did I forget to put all the legal papers in it, but I also forgot my wallet So, I very carefully drove home. Around here, there are not many cars at night and I would have stood out.
I would just tell the officer that I was testing the "smoothness" of my new car
I am bonding nicely already. All the brush must be cut back from my alleged driveway as I do not want any vines touching my new car.
Again, this forum was instrumental in answering all my questions and understanding my obsessiveness about my car and I was able to take the appropriate action
And the Blue is a very different color for me, but the whole point was to do something different so I went with the Blue.
