Default Help - I can't find the TPM reset button, where is it?

The manual shows a picture but when I look down the steering wheel, it is not there. Am I going blind or my 2010 RX did not come with TPM?

It's buried way down on the black plastic panel near the footwell light. It's roughly in line with the postion shown in the manual - to the right of the steering wheel, but much lower on the panel. It's a small black button on the black panel under the dash. Since finding it, I can now just slide my hand down, grope about a bit, and find it. You might want to use a flashlight and stick your head down there the first time...

Good luck,
Alex

Yeah horrible position for the button. I literally had to crawl down there and duck my head under the steering column to find it. It was in that place in the 2gen RX as well.

This discussion thread was very helpful for me to find the TPMS reset button on my 2011 RX350. I can't believe Lexus mounted the TPMS button on this cheap flimsy black plastic panel all the way underneath the dashboard in this luxury vehicle. When I push the button, I push the panel down with it so the button does not always depress unless if I put another finger behind the panel while I press the button. I would much rather put up with an extra button on the dash or console than this current setup trying to minimize the button clutter on the dash/console.

I found this thread and I still had a hard time finding it. So possibly to make this easier to find, it mounted way in the back of the panel and not exactly where it's shown in the manual. It 's in between the gas and brake pedal and on the horizontal portion of the panel. Hope that helps.

Lexus probably wants to charge you for resetting the TPMS, so they hide the button.

It seems odd that it isn't in the menu that's accessed from the steering wheel.

i have a different perspective on this.
i agree, it can be a pain in the neck to find it
but how many times do you need to do a reset?
i believe the purpose of these reset switches being awfully hard to find is to prevent accidental push from passengers, valet drivers or your playful kids,

You're not suppose to reset it often.

Default Tpms

On my 2007 RX. The TPMS reset button is way up under the dash. Under the steering wheel. You might be able to touch it while seating in the seat. But you may be pressing the wrong button by mistake.

When I have to reset mine. I crawl up in the drivers side. Put my elbow and shoulder on the floor mat. And looking up you will be able to see all of the buttons.

Just had to do mine. Real POA the 1st time. But now that I know I"ll manage.

Hint, find it 1st time on your back with a flash light. Took three try's till I did it that way. Resorted to a few of my old Navy slang expressions too
