Side mirrors in the rain?

It wont work on the camera lenses as the surface area is too small. It requires enough water to be able to bead then run off.
I dont like it on the windshield as i find that it beads up and makes big drops when a fine mist would have been fine to see through. It is just a preference. I do the headlights which are plastic and never had an issue and helped keep frozen slush off. Also very good on rear window as it causes the rain to bead off quite nicely.

I''ve used Rain-X for years on the RXs without any issues. It helps keep the windshield cleaner especially during the winter. The side view mirrors can still mist up. It's not really effective for that. Just use the rear defogger like cafpaf suggested or keep a squeegee handy. Both work well.

Rear defroster suggestion worked beautifully. Thank you! But regarding the backup camera, I didn't get the little backup camera wiper..... Mine didn't include a Trunk Monkey, either. LOL
