Ghosts in my RX
hello everyone! i'm a newb and i have a quick question.
i have a 2010 RX and i think it's been inhabited by ghosts. here's the story.
i went in the garage this morning and the brake lights were mysteriously on. the key was not in or near the vehicle. and i don't have the lights set to come on automatically. the brake lights were not on the last time i was in the garage. i'm positive of that. because i have been in and out of the garage quite a bit lately and i surely would have noticed the lights being on.
i haven't driven my RX in a couple of weeks so i have no idea what could be causing this issue and this is not the first time this has happened either.
i also own an 2006 IS350 and i've never had this issue with this car.
what could be causing this problem? i didn't a search and i couldn't find anything. i've read my manual and i can't find anything that could point me to what i could possibly be doing wrong so could my RX be inhabited by ghosts?
seriously, just kidding on the ghosts thing, but is there an electrical issue with the car or is it something i'm doing wrong? do i need to take it to the dealer to get them to look at this issue?
thanks in advance for your help.

hi DunWkg!
i think it was the brake lights. i should have checked to be certain, but the reason i think it's the brake lights is because the third tail light or whatever you call it was on. the light that turns on when you press the brake.

hi Tampa Owner,
i hit the brake pedal and ignition switch. then i locked it with the remote and the lights turned off. i went back inside for a moment and they were still off. in thepast, after a few minutes i've come back into the garage to find the lights on again, but not this time.
