i Listen to Howard Stern so i upgraded to the XM Premier ( plus 100 and 101).
our previous car have Sirius and once you're attached to those channels, it's hard to let go.
So now, all our cars have the XM/Sirius package

I agree. It's like listening to a really compressed mp3, 92bit or lower. Still, if your local radio market is as bad as mine then it's better then nothing.

Not my experience at all with 4 XM radios in cars and on the computer. If you listen to the 60's station it is limited by the quality of recordings 50 years old, but if you listen to one of the good jazz stations, or Watercolors channel, the sound is excellent. Never had a complaint on the quality of the transmission.

I wasn't going to renew after the 3 month trial... but really liked a few of the stations. I got an offer in the mail from Sirius.... for $95 a year. I called and renewed for a year.... it ended up at $104 with the taxes etc.

Me Too
I just did the same too. It expired & they shut it down. About 1 week later I got a notice to renew at 1/2 price or $86 + taxes so I signed up. They said it would be renewed next Jan. at regular rate of $172 + tax unless I cancel beforehand. Guess I'll cancel in Dec. & wait for the 1/2 off price again.

I've played this game with my infiniti for a while now. Just MAKE SURE that you note in the calendar on your phone or computer to call about 30 days prior to the expiration.
If you can handle the hour or so it will take to call, get transferred, ask to not auto renew, get several offers thrown at you, and then re-up it can definitely save you some money. Too bad they just raised their fees and subscription costs as the 1-yr deal used to be only $77 plus taxes and royalty fee.
