thanks for the support. well know in less than 24 hours. i dont think she knows half the planning that went into this or the effort needed to buy a car, let alone keep it hidden for 4 weeks... thankfully i handle all the insurance, tags/title and our finances... i transferred our current car's tags to the new one on paper, but never moved the license plate or else shed know.. so tech ically shes driven the old car a few times with an expired registration and a failt p,ate which belonged to the new car hidden at my work garage... needless to say, had she been pulled over that would be a December to remember...

 

Congrats, I think it will go over very well! I considered doing the same thing just could not figure out how to buy and explain how $40K is missing and hide the RX. Good on you.

they are hesitant with committing on the bows.. i made it clear early on that it was crucial for my whole plan... they own them theyre quite heavy and expensive (for a bow)... i had them confirm theyd let me borrow a bow several times and all they asked that i wait to pick it up right before December 25th... i have to return it, but i dont want to keep it anyway

one thing i noticed different from our 2004 RX330 is the "new car smell" of the interior... we test drove a 2012 Toyota Hybrid and its interior smelled exactly like our 2004 RX... same leather... however, this vehicle's lether and interior smelled different,... ithe new car smell in this can smells more "expensive" and of a higher quality... not sure why
