This reminder was mentioned in another thread but I can't find anything about it in my owner's manual. Is this a feature specific to US spec. or navigation equipped cars? If not, please let me know where this feature is described in the owner's manual.

I tried finding it using the online manual but could not.
It is not a reminder light. It is a message on the instrument panel that says Oil Change Required. It is not specific to navigation and probably not US spec. It will automatically come up every 5000 miles even though oil changes are not required until after 10,000 miles. It is a dummy reminder and does not actually mean the oil needs to be changed
try section 2.2 Instrument Cluster, Indications and Warning lights, or Multi Information Display

I havent tried it myself on the RX, but it worked on my old GS350.
BTW, coreect me if I am wrong, the RX have electric power steering, so there is no power steering fluid to check.

I followed your advice and finally found it in Section 5.2 (Steps to Take in an Emergency) on page 553. Little wonder I have never had it pop up in my RX, it is a US ONLY feature.
