Has anyone seen any information on the new version remote touch? The hand in the photo covers it. Will it be part of the 2013 RX refresh?

It is a floating pad design and you move in side to side or up and down or any variation but it remains horizontal unlike the current remote touch which is set on a rotary base. Chances are, it will not even make it into the refresh of the RX because that would mean redesign of the whole lower center console area.

google the. ew features in the 2013 Tesla sedan vehicle... look at the size of the touch screen and its features... THAT should be the standard for every car

RXSF is correct in his description of the new remote touch. I played with one at the GS reveal at a dealership last night. It sort of glides around like an air hockey puck on an air hockey table. There is no longer an enter button, nor a display button. You enter by pushing down on the remote touch puck. The display button is now on one of the display screens and you activate it like any other button on the display.
The larger display is very nice, although I would not call the graphics vastly improved. Improved, just not vastly. The screen can be divided into thirds across the width. 2/3's for the map and 1/3 for a tabbed menu for audio and climate control. The main menu switches to full screen mode. Each button on the full screen shows an icon of the sub-categories behind it, kind of like the yellow brick road trailing off in the distance. Although the color scheme is blue. I did see a setting to change colors, but didn't try it.
The three buttons, Menu, Arrows, and Map are still at your finger tips. They didn't follow my suggestion to put the Voice button down there.![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I think if you've grown accustomed to the first generation of remote touch, you will have a short adjustment period to get used to the second generation. Not sure how the haters of the first generation will like this one.
