I went to the NY Auto Show today and saw the new '13 F-Sport RX350. Here are some pics:

The front view:

Side:

And the rear:

The '13 450h with the LED headlights and now sporting a horizontal grill:

I didn't see a '13 RX350 non-F-Sport there but they did have an older one, presumably the '12.

Default Thanks Anita!

Nice pictures - the front-on shots of the two variants gives a good comparison of the different looks.

coming from a 2011, i prefer the look of the RX450h grill versus the RX 350 F-Sport.
as others have mentioned, i'm reminded of a cheese grate with that look.
and i used to have Toyota Camry SE with a honeycomb grill..
i guess that's another reason why i'm not excited with the F's grill

Mostly appearance and some option package details. Four new colors are offered. The new App suite (Enform 2.0) and HD Radio are available with the navigation package.

The official press release has the details. Also, the pricing article at Toyota's pressroom notes:

RX 350 and RX 450h
The RX, the top-selling luxury utility vehicle in America for 14 years, raises the bar even higher in 2013 with numerous interior and exterior upgrades. The RX 450h with Lexus Hybrid Drive also receives these enhancements.

The bold new face of Lexus, the signature spindle grille, is complemented by a new headlamp design, LED daytime running lights, distinctive fog lamp bezels, and an aggressive new bumper. Updated taillamps and the rear license plate surround complete the exterior enhancements.

The luxurious and spacious RX receives numerous interior enhancements for 2013. The steering wheel has been redesigned with a sportier look and a more comfortable and relaxing grip. A metallic accent enhances the look of the glove box. The center console has been redesigned for versatility and easy accessibility.

The cabin of the 2013 RX also gets new available Ebony Bird’s-eye Maple wood trim and available Saddle leather interior. Rich, detailed contrast stitching is used on the seats, center console and door-mounted armrests of the available leather trim. Four new exterior colors are available for the RX: Silver Lining Metallic, Claret Mica, Deep Sea Mica, and Fire Agate Pearl, replacing Tungsten Pearl, Matador Red Mica and Cerulean Blue Metallic.

RX 350 F SPORT
This 2013 RX 350 F SPORT (AWD only) was designed to engage driving enthusiasts with performance and styling enhancements including:
Eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters;
Newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels with dark graphite finish with 235/55R19 tires front and rear;
New and unique sport front bumper with mesh grille;
F SPORT tuned suspension with front and rear performance dampers; and
Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM).
F SPORT exterior and steering wheel badging further differentiates this vehicle from the rest of the RX line.

The RX 350 F SPORT also comes with black leather-trimmed seats with white contrast stitching, black headliner, and aluminum pedals and footrest. The RX 350 F SPORT also comes standard with all features from the Premium and Comfort packages. The eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters is a first for the RX line.

My guess is you are looking at an example equipeed with the integrated DVD/TV package for rear seat passengers. It's also a Japanese/right hand drive version which may have options not available on our shores or buttons labeled differently than the US/Canadian counterparts.

thx for updated pix of the RX F Sport... very nice.... I like it, for me, worth the wait...
I like the sporty appearance, the added 8 speed trannie, and suspension upgrade....
But, I hate black interiors, they get too hot, as is the case, no options on specialty cars...argggggg.

Does anyone know if this 8 speed trannie is in other current Lexus models, or is this a first-off?

and a few more F Sport pix....
this car is growing on me....
still curious if the 8 speed is new, or a carry-over from another model?

ok guys
Today, I went to NJ dealership and finally pulled the trigger.2013 Lexus RX 350 AWD.
According to my dealer, it was made yesterday and it will be shipped to NJ in mid May.
First I wanted to customize option pkgs but my delaer told me it's gonna take at least 3 months and I need this car by mid June. There is not many stocks now. So, I chose the car which had closest option that I expected.
Total came out to be little more than I expected since we included nav package but it's alright.
No discounts since it's fresh baby haha
Anyway, I'm happy and hopefully I really enjoy the car for long time!

Raymond, it's a car that will make ya say "Whoa, I didn't know they made cars like this". Well before the Gen III RX they didn't.

Now you have about 2 1/2 weeks so download the manual from the website and spend as much time as you can for a head start. It's stuffed with more high tech goodies that function than you can even imagine.

Congratulations on your choice. Take your camera to pick it up so you can post delivery photos

Yes, parking sensors are a great safety feature;;our Lexus dealer quickly tells you they have an aftermarket company that does a great job as they are only on the highly optioned RX350.,...on the 2006 Cadillac SRX they are standard equipment on the BASE model even!!! I don't understand how Lexus gets behind on some things????
