No, I don't play soccer!
I tried it on the new GS. While the motion is smooth, I didn't like pushing to select rather than a button on the side. Give me a week using it and I might change my mind. I wonder if the main screen will look similar. It reminded me of piano keys.

I'm guessing that since they've put on a new 'face' and offered the 'F' sport package, the body and major components will probably remain the same another 3 to 4 years at least. If so, they probably took me out of the market for trading up till there is a complete new car.

Although I have sooo many irratations with my 2010, just to name a few, squeaks in the back on bumpy roads, road noise (I have another year left on these crappy bridgestones) due to lack of insulation, and most of all the engine sound/noise on slow speed is beginning to really **** me off - I just can't keep buying newife; lexus every two or three years!!! My LX was pretty quiet, same with my wife's GX, and with all the ads and sales talk Lexus put out how quiet the 3rd Generation RX, it's a sham! My point is, it will take me a lot more than a few test drives to buy another Lexus due to diminishing quality of workmanship, constantly lowering standards of parts, and rapidly falling pursuit of perfection which is all talk in the first place for more than a decade now actually.

I like this new face, maybe less "surprising" than the current models we have (2010-2012 models)
Interiors are now most in the fashion victim mode as all bmw and Porsche Volvo xc90; xc60... have the same colors for seats.
The rear lights are not very different, the current models are still the same and apparently no major changes (minor changes difficult to see anyway)
I do prefer the current steering wheel and the one which is the same steering wheel in the GS 450/350 model

I just bought one and now this one comes????? Buyer remorse for sure...I want it bad....look at the front and the headlight and these seats. I love that color interior and ALMOST went it the X5 for that color interior.
My spouse will lecture me for sure if I keep changing car. Bought in IS in 2007, less than 3 years later bought the RX350, 8 months later bought the Camry SE, then 18 months later bought the RX450h........I can't do this.
Oh well I'll live....may be I'll trade her 350 in for the F-Sport and let her share the "normal" 450h and I can "share" the 450h F-Sport.

It looks good with the new grill and ties into the rest of the lineup. I would have hoped they had done more with the F-Sport styling (almost looks the same as the regular car outside of the grill).
Also I read about this release on another website, and there was someone complaining why would a person buy an RX when a Kluger Grande appears to have everything the RX has got but has a price difference in the 10's of thousands.

When you start breaking it down it is just a refresh. Rear taillights are the same shape so easy change out, front end is a change out, the fenders are the same and I'm thinking not a change to the hood. Changed the steering wheel to the GS wheel and added a piece of trim to the glove box. Oh, and new color combos.
The next gen would get that new big screen and a different dash all together. They will probably stiffen the chassis and tweak the suspension, hopefully not to the harsher side. New sheet metal all around. That's my guess. They may wait till 2016 with the release of this update.

I am curious if the new headlights will fit our 2010-2012 models. I am sure the cost of change out would be prohibitive. Piece of cake to change since I'm sure it's plug and play like the rest of the car .Just a thought.

I am pretty sure those are the healights that come in the 450H with the upper spec. They look exactly like mine. There for you should be able to get them for yours. They are LED and auto leveling.

did you get the "NEW" camry? because the Next generation is a lot better than our 2009 Camry SE.
on a serious note, i wouldn't buy the 2013 even though it's very tempting.
wait for the 2014 or 2015 when the changes will be more dramatic than this.
