Back in 2000, my first purchase of a RX, the dealership gave me a key like charm to attach to my key ring that stated if these keys are found, to drop it into the nearest mailbox, and Lexus would return them to the rightful owner.

I stall had the charm the other day and called Lexus to see if this program was still active and they said no.

What would be the best safest way to recover a lost fob for our RX 350 if lost to the general public?

There are third party companies that provide this service via a tag on the key ring. I'd do a Google search.
