Regarding the noise, was it constant or not ?
If yes, it could be the functioning of the ventilated seats if seats are perforated and when the button is activated by error, this creates a sound around the head when the ventilation is at max.

Thanks Alpy, Ive decided to stay away from that vehicle, so at least I wont have to figure out what it was.

Glad to hear it. I'm going from an Audi A4 with tints, aftermarkets alloys, shift paddles etc - to be honest i won't miss it (although it is a great car) I'm sick of being "challenged" at traffic lights! I'm 42 yrs old and I'm happy to slow down and enjoy the journey.
