RX450H Remote Start Range
I thought I had posted this before, but I can’t find it so here it is again. I have a new RX450H and you have to be almost on top of the car before it starts. I read where as to extend the receiver antenna up where it can get a better signal. Does this work or does anyone have good ideas that I can use? Thank you in advanced……………

No, I don't play soccer!
The range of the OE remote starter is supposed to be 65-70 feet but for most it doesn't seem to work. It's hit or miss for me. There is no way to boost the range as far as I know so going aftermarket like Jairus has might be your only option.

Have you tried holding the remote to the bottom of your chin and pressing the start button? I showed this to a co-worker and it really works on extending the range! She was looking around for the candid camera! I was in a building looking out the window at the car about 50 yards away, pressing the lock button...nothing. Put it to my chin....push the lock button....lights blink....doors locked. Worth a shot.

I hear people say that about cell phones and stuff and then they spend an hour every morning blow drying and curling their hair or using an electric shaver.
The studies on EMR have all been inconclusive at best and besides DunWkg think of it as natural selection. The weak buffalo gets eaten and it makes the herd stronger, the same should work for brain cells should it not?
