Bluesurf: Thank you for the link,
Joe: Not yet, but i will give Matt a call tomorrow to find out. My car was bought from Glen Cove, NY too ( Rallye Lexus), so i guess he could be the one installed it. Many thanks.
On the side note, while my car was at the shop, we found out front bumper and driver's side fender were repainted. This was not disclosed to me when i bought the car ( CPO) and Carfax show accident at all. So it is a head up for anyone if you want to buy CPO car or deal with Rallye Lexus in the future.

CarFax only gets information when their is an insurance claim. Cars can be damaged by previous owners and never go through insurance companies. Also, dealers get new cars that need repairs occasionally and they never report it. I even asked my dealer about this issue, and they said all they do is show the carfax.
I bought a new car that had the trunk repainted by the dealer and it only had 3 miles on it. It shows up in the dealers service history, but until my first service, i had no idea.

Sorry to go off topic, but can I ask what color your car is? i'm buying one this week in the same color, the dealer is calling it "graphite" - I don't know if that's a discontinued color for the RX (its not on the Lexus website) or its a different color entirely?
Thanks,
Scott.

My car is actually a 2009 model, latest generation RX350. Does that mean it was a different colour back then? Or is it perhaps "Stargazer Black" that Im buying? Thanks for the information.

I would expect anything with the word Graphite in it to be a gray black, and "stargazer black" to be very shiny deep black.

Thanks, it makes sense. I've noticed there are different marketing names for the same colors in different countries too. When the Highlander II came out, the red color here in Australia was called "Merlot" the same colour in the USA was called "Salsa" Lol.
They change color names and colors all the time. My 2010 is dark gray - "Smoky Granite Mica" but it could have been called Graphite in another year.
