Oil Change for 5K or 10K ???

The RX350 does have an engine air filter. I will be changing mine at 30k

rxsuperman...a suggestion...every so often have your oil analyzed by a lab such as Blackstone. In doing so, you can make a much better quanitative decision re: oil change intervals.

Default Engine air filter

INRBigness...thanks for the feedback. I sent an email to my Lexus dealer with the same question and he replies telling me how to install the cabin air filter! Now that i know there is one in the engine compartment i'll peel the plastic until i find it. Thanks again.

If you guys are worried about the oil change interval, have you guys though of having your oil analysis @ 7.5k? That should tell you the oil integrity with the detailed report. I'm planning on doing this before oil change @ 10k.

Bearcatjer--------------Remove the engine shrouds and look on the driverside firewall next to the brake cylinder. You'll see a square-ish looking box with two clips. Flip the clips open the hatch and voila the filter is in there. Lifts right out. Small but heafty item. I'm finding all those parts hiding places now.
