2010 RX350 uneven tire wear
We bough this car new and at around 10,000 noticed that the tires were not wearing correctly. They were wearing on the edges prematurely. I rotated them and checked the pressures. Pressure was a little low at 30 PSI, the door sticker calls for 32. Not tremendous in my opinion and certainly not enough to cause the condition we were seeing that looked like under inflation. The problem has continued even though I have done regular rotation. We are at 29000 and the tires are basically bald on the edges. Lexus installed cheap Bridgestone tires at the factory and I'm a little appalled at how they held up. Complete junk in my opinion.
After doing some research I now feel that the tires were underinflated from the dealer and think 30 or 32 is too low. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

You should have had the alignment checked at 10K. The alignment is warranted for the first year or 15K. I had mine done and they had to make adjustments to the rear, all under warranty. If it is under inflation both the inner and outer edges of the tire would be worn, not just one side. I keep mine at 30 psi, for ride and noise comfort, and don't have that problem, I do have the Michelin's. I hope this helps.

More than likely you may have an alignment issue. Like MEP7557 said, the alignment has a warranty for 1-year/15K miles. My wife's 2011 RX had all four tires (Dunlop's) replaced at ~12K because all 4 tires had abnormal edge wear which resulted in excessive road noise. At first, Lexus dealer told me my 19" Dunlop's are super sensitive to road conditions, things like going over railroad tracks, bad road surfaces, etc., could adversely affect the tires' condition. After I showed the SA the owner's manual about the alignment warranty, Lexus dealer performed the alignment check and determined the RX's alignment was out-of-specifications.
My case may be limited but it's surprising to own a 7-month old car which has alignment issues, whether from factory or deteriorated over a short period.

I agree that Bridgestone tires are crap based on a couple of previous cars that came with them as OE. They wore out very quickly, didn't stop well in the wet and were noisy. Fortunately my RX came with Michelins.

get an alignment done...and inflate higher than recommended psi.
I had an issue with my tires as well...alignment was completed....and it was inflated per manufacturers spec. Now I always pump it up more...about 4 psi over the spec.

I would get new tires and then get an alignment right after that. An alignment is cheap insurance vs having tires wear out prematurely. I sold my OE Bridgestones after 300 miles and got Michelins as replacements.

I wouldn't call the stock tires 'junk', they are about equal to what all manufacturers put on the car as they come from the factory. Lexus' vehicles are set up to provide good tracking and that sometimes means you get premature wear on the inside of the tread. At 29,000 miles it is probably time for new tires, so get higher grade ones and get it aligned. Tell the dealer you are trying to avoid the premature wear, they can adjust the alignment a bit.

All manufacturers do not put those on from the factory. My last four cars from nissan and bmw came with either michelins or continentals, both superior tires in my opinion. I will get the alignment but I still think underinflation was at least a big part of it. The wear was on both the inside and outside edges.
