Hohlraum

My wife has gotten used to driving with blind spot mirrors and would like some for our 2012 RX350. Has anyone installed any of these aren't just ugly round ones and fit the mirrors well?

Other than the little round stick-ons and their square counterparts I've not seen anything else.

Does anyone know why Lexus doesn't offer a blind spot monitoring feature in the RX? This is a feature where the vehicle will give the driver a blinking and/or beeping indication that there is a vehicle in the blind spot. Most other luxury competitors offer this feature.

I would look for that when the actual redesign comes out. Personally I am not a huge fan of them since they provide too many false positives for my taste when I can just take a glance over my shoulder. My wife's 2011 C70 has the BLIS system and thie one from Volvo as well as others out there from other manufacturers have complaints of false positives, especially in rainy conditions so not only are you made aware of something that isn't there but the little light constantly flashing at you gets a bit annoying. I turn it off then I drive her car.
