There are strong rumours here in Waterloo Region, based on comments by a Toyota vp from Japan at the Toronto Auto show, that all RXs will soon be built in Cambridge. The reason being given is that the yen has appreciated so much against the US dollar that profits margins are thin even on $50,000 vehicles. The same executive also stated that Prius production would also move to North America. What will those of you who don't like to buy North American built cars do if this happens?

That's a pretty loaded question. Most of us with Japanese cars have hybrid models or ones with special options that only come from Japan. I don't see that changing, but if it did and I stayed with the Marque, then I guess Canadian cars.
