The Lexus OEM color matched door guards are discussed somewhere in the forum. They have been installed by some owners. They are high quality, if you need this type of protection. It is my understanding that they are metal with a vinyl or similar over coating.

I negotiated them as am extra on my 2011 RX last month and an very pleased with them. They will definitely save you some door edge chips over time. And they are almost unnoticeable on my Cerulian Blue RX. Next, I am going to add the matched body side moldings.

Yours looks lots better than the one in my attached picture, I can't hardly see it at all. Did you use the one sold by Sewell's or is it 3M clear bra?

Sewell's it is the Lexus part and if you get more than 5 feet away they are very hard to see on this car

I have the same color as Billy. I love mine and they are hardly visible.
