Navigation usage after a year
Can anyone please tell me, if one does not renew any of the Navigation 12 month subscriptions are not renewed, what is left in the navigation system of use? Would the map work? Would the navigation work? What does not work?
thanks!
thanks!

I'm wondering if at the end of the year and during the December to Remember sale, if getting a 2013 RX450h AWD for around 50K (with a MSRP of around 55/56k) is realistic? Anyone get one of these with this much of a discount? Let us know. Thanks!

When I purchased my RX 350 a few days ago I was tempted with the $58K version of the 450, and my dealer offered my the same $4700+ discount on both vehicles. After driving both extensively, comparing operating costs over five years (factoring in the price of premium gas on the interstate for the trips we take), there was just no reason left for me to buy the hybrid other than the fact I wanted it. This is my second RX 350 (had a 2011) and actually I don't think I could have ever acclimated to the whining of the brakes (normal sound) while the hybrid was recharging. You either like it or you don't. All that said...I don't think you'll get the car for less than $4700 off retail. I'm sure of the numbers and after that point they're pretty much paying you to buy it and they don't have to do that.

I had the 2011 RX 350 and my advice is to get the the 2013. MUCH better vehicle, much better nav system, and 2013 is where they made some major changes. Just MHO, though. Oh...not to mention the front end with the new spindle grille is really nice.

i would settle for a 10-12 but i may regret it every time i see a new RX with those led's!

In any event, all were below invoice in 2013 RX350.
See my posts?
Good luck.

I'm wondering what the dealers are giving folks for their cars at trade in - anyone have some real world numbers for this? My belief is that the used car prices for a 450h is artificially inflated and the dealers are making bank on this car on the used side.

Hey J, I'm in the same boat you are. My thinking is why spend 40/41k for a used 2010 RX450h with 30,000+ miles (that's what they seem to be priced at on autotrader here in S. CA. - and I think that is way too much for a car that is now 3+ years old and sold new for only 10k more than what they are asking), when I can spend just 10k more and get a brand new one with all the warranty, refreshed and updated look with all the new goodies - if I can get what I want at 50k.

PS there is a couple 2011's I'm considering if I can't get a fantastic deal on a new one, but before I go the route of the used I would really like to hear your thoughts on the betterness of the new ones.

mcfancy : Was this for the 2013 or 2012 model? If it's for the 2013, it's a heck of a deal!
