I hope you haven't signed any papers yet. That's a terrible deal. You could have done a lot better by negotiating on your own. You must not have read all of the posts in this thread. If you bought it already, I sincerely hope you love it and welcome to the forum. P.S. I don't mean to beat you up over this. It just pains me to see people taken advantage of. Good luck.

I'm right at 48k for a RX 350 F-sport with a MSRP of right around 52k which is invoice. Now compared to the past there isn't as much wiggle room after invoice, Lexus has cut that additional fat, margins are slimmer due to the Yen trading like crap.
We looked last month to lease one sign and drive and my salesman just came back with more attractive numbers due to "December to Remember".
My salesman told me for whatever reason Lexus has made leasing the F-sport less attractive than a regular RX, Residuals for the F-sport are not as good....Not sure why the hell they think the value of the F-sport won't be as good as a plain jane RX...boggles the mind, its a limited production model...smh
There is still is the 1k rebate for the RX. The GS actually has a $1,500 rebate (Both loyalty).

I got $4500.00 off from Total sticker price. I bought RX 350 , 2013 with total MSRP of 49400 (approximately with many packages such as comfort package, Navigation, camera, parking assist, blind spot, heated seats etc.) so take off $4500.00 from this, and then pay tax +document porcessing fee of $489.00 + Tag.
I was getting this with either with Rx350 or 450H. Simply stated $4500.00 off from total MSRP(including all accessories) I bought on Novenber 13-2013

Newbie to this forum and to Lexus, but have been reading this thread for about a month.
I just presented my first offer for a 2013 RX 350 with an MSRP of $48,235. I offered $43,107 + TTL, which is about 10.5% off MSRP. The reply I received was that it was unrealistic. I haven't heard back on what they think is realistic.

I know there are other things you have to factor in such as interest paid on the car as it sits on their lot (they've financed it with their bank), holdbacks, dealer incentives from Lexus, etc. I think an offer of between 8% and 9% off retail (before TTPL) should be accepted. If not...go to another Lexus dealer.

I agree that your offer might be a tiny bit unrealistic. One thing most people tend to not factor into their offer is the amount of money made by the sales person. I know for a fact that on my 2013 RX 350, purchased a month ago, the retail price was 49,180 and the most discount they would allow me was 4350...and this still allowed 2200 for the salesman. This actually had them losing a couple of hundred on paper...but I'm sure they make it up in other ways.

Don't keep your head down ...trust..they will want to clear inventory at month's end, especially December. A lot of things at play, Lexus always finishes with a strong December due to incentives and they want to have a strong ball rolling into 2013 to take back the sales crown.
We are still fiddling with numbers here on a RX-f, I have never done this with my dealer as they have treated us awesome over the years but this is business, not personal and I know there are some incredible deals out there.

Dear Club (and especially saz25)
Folks here in this forum have been fantastic. Armed with the relevant facts, negotiations are only minimally invasive and benign v. malignant. Just purchased a 2013 RX 350 AWD with Comfort, Navigation, Intuitive,Premium, Blind Spot, and Wood / leather steering wheel packages. Retail $49,310 for $44.4k (plus silly $500 documentation fee)
Not the greatest deal but a very good one. I unexpectedly traded in my other car at a few hundred dollars below Edmunds trade in value at the last minute but then again this eliminated the need to sell on my own car and saved on sales tax (MA taxes the net difference between two cars). So I am an amateur negotiator when compared to saz25 but fair deal I am satisfied with
A few observations: (1) Internet dealership contacts are lead generators with no authority to bind the dealership to a contract. They bring folks in for the salesmen or women to close the deal. Nice folks that agree with most requests but not in position to make the deal happen (2) even if agreement on price, there is no way to leave without investing 2-4 hours (3) even a quick sale such as mine was complete and comprehensive, (4) if do you do NOT like your salesperson withdraw and start again with someone more to your liking, and (5) end of month is the time to buy a car
I bought from Charles Mayer at Lexus of Watertown and based on this experience will buy the next RX350 from him as well. Need to sell house in another state before doing so. The finance manager and salesperson stayed well beyond closing to address every detail possible and were willing to come in on their day off to finish the new car orientation. There was little if any pressure to purchase an extended warranty and understood that folks buying luxury cars are still spending HARD EARNED Dollars on a high priced depreciating asset
Compared the RX 350 against BMW, Acura, and Infinity and this hands down is a better value and more reliable vehicle. I look forward to helping others as they have helped me
