Male Drivers of RX Models
#16
I see many male RX owners including myself. It is more of a vehicle for family and very practical. Best thing about it is that these Lexus cars just never go wrong. I have owned 2 different Lexus vehicles since 2007 and the only problem I ever had was a burnt light bulb which was fixed by the dealer free of charge in less than 15 mins while I was having a chat with my salesman. The down side is they are not exciting vehicles to drive and sometimes that kills me mentally.

I'm a 60 year old married guy with 3 grown kids, and I'm in my 3rd RX now. Love the car and love the looks. I don't care what sex drives the car more, I just know what I like.
Also, not that it's a true indicator, but I think that most of the posters on here are male.
Get what you like, not what John or Jane Doe likes.

Yes, I quite agree JC.
I’m also pleased to report that I have been driving an RX since last November and it hasn't affected my masculinity in the slightest.

For what it's worth, I know an NHL head coach who drives a 450h and a 400-goal career scorer in the NHL who drives a 350 RX. Neither would be accused of being unmanly.
I've driven RXs since 2000, and I enjoy the smooth ride, the adequate cargo space, the elevated seating position, the reliability and the bad-weather driveability. At the height of a 28-inch snowstorm here two years ago, I defied the weathercasters begging everyone to stay home and drove my wife to her hospital job. Never skidded or slid once during the 40-mile roundtrip, (Of course, the Michelin Latitude X Ice tires had much to do with that, too.)

Funny! I actually got the light blue. EVERYONE comments on the nice color. Sometimes I wish I had gotten the dark gray.
It was a long day at the dealer's and it was night by the time I chose the color. After all the 100 other decisions I had made that day, I was surprised at how hard it was to choose the color. I always had white for visibility, but figured I should get out of my "rut" and try something different.
I bought it because I enjoy driving it and after all my research I think it is the absolute best car for the dollar.
I really like driving this car. I think is fast and powerful. Maybe not a Ferrari, but it has some great power I think.
I need a little extra space and like the slightly higher ride than a sedan.Next time, dark gray, maybe the 450h! For now, I will simply enjoy!

Okay, you guys are taking the wrong approach. I volunteered to help with a soccer team and, well, I let my obsidian RX get dirty once. Okay, it was dirty just briefly, but the soccer mom thing is not so bad.

Aahhhh I feel so manly today.
I'm in mid 30s, married, kids and Yes, I see more females than males driving the RX in my town but very few 450h. May be we all need little "feminine" in our Alpha male body to balance it out little.
Get the 2013 F Sport and enjoy.

It's my wife's RX but I'm always driving it, since she's in the back with the baby. It does have a "Purse holder/compartment", but who really cares about what other people think?
You can always throw a grill guard on it to man it up some!
